I joined this wiki simply because it's a lovely one (Bravo to the administrators !) and it would be great if I could exchange information and/or impressions with other members here... and improve my english that I don't practise very often !
The best word to describe me : I'm a French lady, I live near Paris with my family, but I have very close relatives who live in the States (Texas & California) In fact, I left a piece of my heart there...
Interests: So many ! There is no room enough here to enumerate but I hope I will later. I love movies of course. my partner and I love to ride our bike -Honda CB 1100 for the experts ;-)- and travel when we can afford it.
Favorite movies: Idem, so many ! Maria's Lovers was a pearl (I don't know if it is said in english, in France we say "une perle" when it's a perfection !
And I love, too, Tex Avery's cartoons, I recommend them to anyone who's got the blues !!!
Favorite TV shows: I have to rectify what I previously said : We do have Dexter here on the cable TV, 1st season and may be more. Personally I have just watched the first episodes. We have Criminal Minds also, but only 1st season, and some episodes of season 2... I love others like NCIS, Sex & the city, Dr House, or Ghost Whisperer, the lady is so cute, and I love paranormal and fantastic ! I'm sorry to have to say that generally I don't like french TV series, except "Caméra Café", which is not really a series but a succession of sketches... hilarious !!!
If I could live anywhere, it would be: In the States of course ! Maybe I will end my life there, it's one of my dreams... OK I don't mean I want to commit suicide there ;-) ... I just meant I would like to spend the rest of my life in this place... in France we say "finir ses jours quelque part" which means "spend the rest of one's life somewhere", slightly different from "mettre fin à ses jours" which means, effectively, "to commit suicide"... Sorry I had directly translated the french idiom but I shouldn't have !!! :-))
My dream job(s): I'm happy with mine at present (I write fantasy stories for children -from 10 to ????- (when do we stop being a child ?)

Nadou! You don't want to end your life in the states! We have our share of suicides already! Your enk-lish is perty! Better'in mine. You oughta hear our Southerers if you think your English is bad..uh-huh And you got folks livin' in TexasLand.
