This was a Pay TV movie from 1986 I think. I got it on video casette altho I can't remember names again. KC plays a cop.
These four guys get together once a week to play poker.
Gary Busey plays his Okie gig to the brim in this one. He's a machanic that got married the day he after high school graduation to his sweetheart who had accidently gotten pregnant. He dreams of a life in the country but on the wages of a machanic, He can't afford it.
One guy loves gambling and his dream is to spend a week-end in Vegas but of course, with his twins and house payments and all, he can't afford it. I don't know what he does for a living.
The down to earth guy is a school teacher with a decent life. He is the host to his friends each week-end and he supplies the poker table and refreshments. The poker room's is in his basement. He's a happy guy but we find out into this movie, that he ain't got everything he needa either.
They all sit around waiting for their "Lucky" buddy played by KC. Hey, the guy's just lucky. Everything he touches flourishes.
So when we meet this lucky guy, he walking around the stairway after spending the last half hour listening to his buddies talk about all the things they'd like to do if they just had a few extra bucks
KC ain't so happy tonite. He's acting strange. He begins trying to convince his homeys to rob a bank with him. They think he's fooling around .. He ain't.
We find out a little later that KCs wife has just left him and he's thinking about ending his life by putting his LAPD issued revolver into his mouth.
During the evening these guys sit there and drink and play poker we find out that the down to earth guy's wife can't have any children, and that the guy who loves to gamble is a total loser at gambling and that KC's "Lucky" aint so lucky afterall.
The movie ends with these four guys all huddled up and ..cryin.
