Keith has given his father's real first name to his son Cade as his middle name, Richmond. He has given one of his mother's names to the youngest of his daughters, Sorel, as her first name.

KC's belly button is an outie! (I couldn't resist! I find that to be an important detail-- ARayne...you would!--dexgal)

Keith is said to have turned down the role of Oliver Barrett IV in the movie "Love Story." The role was filled by Ryan O'Neal. (wonder if he ever had to say he was sorry...lol--dexgal...source: http://www.notstarring.com/actors/carradine-keith)

"Long Riders" Trivia: The Bridges brothers, Jeff and Beau, reportedly refused the offer when it was suggested they play Bob and Charlie Ford because they didn't want the Bridges name to be associated with the guys who shot Jesse James! The characters of Bob and Charlie Ford later went to the Guest brothers (Great bit of trivia, wysteria! Thanks for posting it!--dexgal)

Keith starred in the movie "Blackout" (1985), but his younger brother Robert had starred in a movie called "Blackout" (1978). The movies have nothing in common other than both having a Carradine in the casting! One is about a serial killer and the other is about a blackout in a city...

Atakama How well does he speak french ? 18 Sep 12 2008, 9:13 AM EDT by Atakama

I heard him speak french in "Southern comfort", where he only says some little words like "au revoir" or "merci", which is easy to say even if you don't speak french. I don't speak japanese but if I am well coached I think I would be able to repeat phonetically some words without even understanding what I say (but so that the Japanese will !) ... In "Choose me" , he says a longer sentence -not in a quite correct french, I mean grammatically- which surprised me so much that I remember each word :" fais attention qu'est-ce que tu dis, hein, les murs ont des oreilles" The correct way would have been "fais attention A CE QUE tu dis..." Well, I would just say that I prefer his english voice... But the strangeness of this sentence makes me think that possibly he was not coached to say that and -maybe- speaks french enough to have decided himself to place this sentence here... A french person wouldn't have said "les murs ont des oreilles" (walls have ears) , old-fashioned expression going back to the second world war when German spies could be everywhere. In the movie he only wants to tell that he understood what Powers Boothe just said in french (PB is supposed to be a Canadian guy and he speaks french, assuming that nobody understands).
