Playing in Hair on Broadway in 1969, Keith met the actress and singer Shelley Plimpton,
fell in love with her and had his first daughter with her : Martha Plimpton, born in 1970.
Keith really has good taste with women, look at Shelley Plimpton in 1969, ain't she irresistible then ???
In 1971, during the shooting of the film "Hex" Keith met the adorable doe-eyed actress Cristina Raines. They were to stay together until 1980.

In 1982, Keith marries Sandra Will. They will have two children, Cade in 1982 and Sorel in 1985.
They finally separated in 1993 and divorced later.
Just before, in 1991, he had met and fallen in love with his leading lady in the Will Rogers Follies show, Dee Hoty.
They were even supposedly engaged in 1996...
....Not ugly either...
