Keith as Nick Hart, looking down on the woman he once thought he knew...
Keith stars as Nick Hart, the proverbial starving artist in 1920's Paris who hangs out with the likes of Ernest Hemingway, Alice B. Toklas and Gertrude Stein...the film was directed by Alan Rudolph. (Montreal stood in for Paris.)

It is a beautiful film!

Why, yes, I will have breakfast with you...

In a final confrontation, Rachel must choose between the two men...

Nick leaves Paris, stops off in New York on his way to Hollywood...and encounters an old acquaintance...

The Moderns - Keith Carradine

The Moderns is one (we feel!) of the best films in which Keith Carradine has starred...great acting, fantastic-looking star, good writing that seems to capture an era...and, the music doesn't overpower the dialogue, but complements it. Genevieve Bujold and Wallace Shawn also star in this film. John Lone gives an outstanding performance, as well!

This is a wonderful movie. Keith is in 95% of the scenes and he looks amazing. He is so natural in this film. It's a great story and the supporting actors do a fantastic job as well. I wasn't a fan of Alan Rudolph's "Choose Me", but he did a great job with this film. Definitely a must see for any Keith Carradine fan.
