The Revenge of Al Capone
Keith stars in this crime drama as Michael Rourke, an FBI agent obsessed with bringing Al Capone to justice. Alas, as happens to many obsessed people, Michael begins to lose sight of what's really important in his life... wysteria has kindly watched this movie again (what a noble sacrifice!) in order to provide this summary, and we thank her for the images! This movie is aka "Capone," and was released in 1989.
Movie begins with an older, syphilis-ridden Capone (played by Ray Sharkey) having a conversation with former Untouchable Rourke....
In flashback, we see how Elliott Ness recruited Rourke to his team to get Capone, and how the Special Agent doggedly left no stone unturned in his quest to bring the mob boss down.
Rourke is prepared to do anything to get his man!
Capone tries to have Rourke and his family massacred.
Michael moves his wife (played by Jayne Atkinson) and two daughters out of town to a safer location.
Then he goes back to the city to stake out Capone.
One evening, he meets a waitress named Jennie, and ends up preventing her arrest during a raid.

The pair begin a torrid affair....
....But they end up falling in love with each other.
Unbeknownst to Michael, Jennie (played by Debrah Farentino) is actually a Capone plant.
She arranges for newspaper reporters to catch then in flagrante delicato.

Michael's marriage ends, and he becomes even more determined to bring Capone down.
Even when Michael's diligence finally pays off, Elliott Ness receives all the glory.
Al's criminal reign was finally ended with charges of tax evasion, and he was sent to the new prison, Alcatraz.
The film also ends with another scene in which the older Capone and Rourke recount their adventures together, with Capone getting the last laugh on Rourke, telling him that the very-much-alive Jennie was killed because he knows that Michael never stopped loving her...

So, we all know our basic Mob history. Capone- Kingpin.
Chicago Mafia Brutal killer Evaded capture Bought off many coppers. BUT One guy named Rourke refuses payoff and brings Capone in on Tax evasion. Capone don't care much. He has goons all over the city and he does his best work from a cell. Rourke has personal reasons for bringing down Al Al had his father killed when Rourke was a boy. Rourke brings Al down It's Christmastime in Chitown Rourke's family all tucked away waitin' for Santa Instead of Santie they get Capone's armed goons breaking down the door to mow Rourke and his wife and two daughters down They survive but Rourke feels it's better if they're driven' out to a secluded cabin for safety's sake. He goes back to the city and begins attempts at making a reservation at Alcatraz for Al Capone to get his ass out of Chitown where his goons will no longer have his leadership. Enter Elliott Ness, he makes Rourke one of his famed Untouchables. Capone hears the word Alkatraz and goes nuts! Alcatraz ain't exactly happy days at Chiago's Cook County Rourke is staking out a speakeasy for a bust. Meets a brunette dish having a smoke outside the building he's taking down He saves her from being arrested. She's just a waitress. They have a sexy sexy affair He tells her what his plans are for Capone They exchange I love yous stark naked in bed What's This? Photographers break in taking pictures and asking questions! It seems that Miss Jenny is a present sent from Al Capone to Michael Rourke to distroy his reputation. This makes Rourke mean! He takes Capone down Alcatraz This movie begins with a conversation between the retired Rourke and the syphilis-ridden and dying Capone. Ends the same way. Al asks Mike if he still loves Jenny He says No. he's lying Jenny listens sad .
