he finally marries Eve...

(Lesley Ann Warren) and they leave the place together in an old (greyhound ?) bus, with an old black lady who tells them "marriage is a sacred thing", and what I remember is Eve saying as a joke to Mickey "you're a lunatic !" and he answers "That's why you chose me"... and I think it's the end... I liked very much this film, too.

Another thing I remember : In this movie KC's character has a fight with Powers Boothe's character, they don't like each other at all (because of women, of course !)and in Southern Comfort they are partners, comrades if not really friends. I saw Southern Comfort after Choose me (I don't know which one was released first) and I was surprised by the cast which made them play together again but quite differently this time !

There was this other guy. He was married to Pearl and was courting Eve and he thought Nancy Love was the only woman who understood him. Powers Boothe was in Deadwood tho... after Bill got dusted by Jack McCall in episode four! I think he was in The Forgotten as one of those vets .... I can't remember the name of the guy in Choose Me. I can even remember his screen name. He spoke French tho.. 1 out of 1 found this valuable. Do you? |

Yessss you're right ! I remember his name now, it's Patrick Bauchau... I always mix them up ! I've mixed them up for more than 20 years !!! Shame on me... Thanks Wysteria, you're really smart !!! :-)

Thanks for the kind words... I always liked the tase of lard when cooking friend chicken and making french fries. I think I saw a TV schedule connected to this site but I ain't sure BUT I just checked the TV schedule and Choose me is being played on the FLIX channel on this coming Saturday morning at 8:45am and 6:00pm that same day. and also at 9:25am the following Thurdsay morning as well as 8:00pm that same night. Andre is being played tomorrow morning, that's Friday morning at 8:45 on HBO-E, the same time on HBO-W and on Sunday afternoon at 3:45pm and the following Friday at 2:35pm on HBO-FM Our Very Own is being played that same Friday (the 16th) at 7:20 on Starz Cinema (SCINE) They're also playing alot of David's stuff. Cannonball, Miracle at Sage Creek, Roadside Prophets, Circle of Iron, Bird on a Wire and Robert's even being played Thise Nerd movies. I hope Atakama can get some of these stations in Europe. I don't know how that works over there. We get some French stations over hre. Does that mean you get some Amerian station over there Atakama? Do you find this valuable? |

That guy from Kentucky who wears that heat is FABULOUS Hey did you all know that Elvis' manager Tom Parker was called "the Colonel" because of his former occupation? His occupation, before managing Elvis, He was a barker in a carnival. He had these Dancing........ Chickens... yep ........and he also had a hot plate. He'd charge a quarter each for folks to watch these chickens dance. What he'd done is, he'd trained these chickens to stand upon that hot plate all in a row... then acting off the stupidity of chickens he'd.., well.... there ain't no nice way to put this... he's turn up the heat under these chickens real slow and as the plate heated up.... them chickns would dance... like Dudley Moore in the movie "10"! He did the same thing to Elvis, if you ask me... Another claim to fame for Tom Parker. The guy who wrote the TV show "Green Acres" based his "Mr. Haney" character on a guy he saw in a Southern carnival who charged people a quarter each to watch his dancing chickens........ That guy's name.... Tom Parker! True Story! 1 out of 1 found this valuable. Do you? |

Yes, there is a schedule of KC television viewings each week on the bottom of the "News and Updates" page...and I LOVE those 'Nerd' movies...maybe 'cos I am a big old nerd myself...

I also loved 'Green Acres' Mr Haney was a riot! I thought Ed was cute; I saw him in a movie called Gordy about a pig--he looked good (and the pig, too!).
