Keith Carradine in "Choose Me"

Well, I am still having trouble getting this from tv to dve to computer, but will hopefully have more screen caps up soon! I have to tell you that I wasn't so crazy about this movie when I first saw it, especially the (IMHO) overpowering soundtrack/score, but it has definitely grown on me! And Keith Carradine looks really REALLY good in this one, not so skinny as usual. He looked healthy and sexy. Okay, just having a moment when I woke up in the middle of the night last night and watched a few minutes of this one--back to reality...! Do you find this valuable?

I think he was woking out. You can't go from Caroll Barber to Mickey the Liar without either steroids or a hell of a lot of steak, eggs and workin out! Do you find this valuable?

Mickey the Liar ... You're not fair this time ! In this movie Mickey Bolton is SUPPOSED to be a liar but in fact he ALWAYS tells the TRUTH ! As unbelievable as it seems ! I have no comments about steroïds... lol... but which is very remarkable in this film is that he never lies !!! I like this character, and I agree with Dexgal, he looks very mannish there. I didn't like very much his character in La Petite and I totally hated his character in Ballad of the sad café... And now Wysteria is to kill me... ;-)) Do you find this valuable?

Mickey BOLTON! I had forgotten he had a last name! Nobody in that movie has a last name. except him...weird.
Hey, i don't know whether or not the guy was lying . Maybe he just carried around all that stuff. Maybe he stole it. Maybe his brother was the famous guy and he murdered his brother and assumed his brother's identity and all....and maybe not.
But Nobody in that movie is who they claim to be. Nancy Love is not really "Anne" She's a big liar! The pimp guy is well, okay... he's a pimp guy. Eve is actually just a whore who hit the big time or saved her pennies or gave class A blowjobs or she's got a spring in her twat! Pearl is, well, okay, she's just Pearl. But we know one thing!! We know MIckey is Nuts! He's a bubble off plume. He's one brick short of a load and he's gonna blow when we least expect it. I love the character of Mickey. He actually carries that ticking time bomb personality through-out this movie. I dug that!

You didn't like Marvin Macy? Ahhh, man! I thought old KC was sexy in that! I didn't like him either but, that was the gig, Atakama. He was a bastard and a thief and a hater of women and a homosexual for cryin' out loud! BUT before he went to prison, he really loved Miss Amelia and the dumb bitch threw him out! That killed him all over again. He intiially tried desperately to reach above his bad habits. H e got a job in that cotton mill, stopped seducing the pretty girls in town, stopped gettin' drunk and saved all his money.. He started going to church and then he marries this stone-heart and she takes his money and makes him sleep out in the garage! Actually, in the book, he didn't even get a mattress. There wasn't even a garage. She sent him back to the streets.He slept down in the swamp, humiliated and hurt beyond degree, his heart bleeding, plotting her death! I'm going to read this story again...... Do you find this valuable?

Okay, now you're REALLY making me want to see this movie. I've had so much of working late and still too much paperwork to do the next week or so, but then I SWEAR I'm going to crack open my piggy bank and buy this film. And I will have to read the novella again...sigh! 1  out of 1 found this valuable. Do you?
